-Entrance Hall-

Post by Zahnt on Sun Oct 26, 2014 3:05 pm

This room is the first thing you see when you enter the Mansion of the Twilight's Terror. There is a lovely crystal chandelier illuminating the room, and staircases lead upward to the dining room. Pillars are holding up the balcony of the second floor, and of course, there is a red carpet. But beware, nothing friendly dwells within these walls; if you are not one of us, then it is probably best to leave before we get to you, for we are already aware of your presence.

Zahnt stood in the middle of the entrance hall, leaning against his Egyptian-style sceptre. He casually tapped one of his feet against the red carpet that he stood on. His blue and yellow eyes gazed with a satisfied arrogance at the pillars and chandelier from behind the black and gold anubis mask. How fantastic he was. How exquisite. How simply amazing. Look at everything he owned. A charming mansion, an outstanding sword, elegant clothes, a wonderful Master, and loyal subjects. Yes...his subjects. The other Eliminators. Now The Lord wasn't necessarily the character that picks favorites, but he had a liking for that lady, Kirith. She had stood by him, defending him from others since the first day they met. Of all the people Zahnt had met, his Mistress of Darkness definitely took the cake. In fact, he suspected she would soon be arriving at his side once again in the very near future...

Re: -Entrance Hall-

Post by Kirith on Sun Oct 26, 2014 5:21 pm

Kirith slowly followed the deceiving voice in her head. She was unsure if she could actually trust it. If it was safe to follow it. If it's voice was something she was sure was real to her. But when it had first talked to her, it had mentioned something about The Lord Of Shadows. She knew exactly what that meant. A
Zahnt.
It was showing her the way to Zahnt. Or that is at least what she hoped for. Surely enough, she now found herself standing in front of a mansion of some sort. She pushed the textile mask down from her nose, and let it become a part of her hood. Even though her hood made her face disappear with shadows, she felt much more secure with the mask on.
With soundless steps, she sneaked up towards the doors. She took a deep breath, and placed her palm against the entrance way. An heavy push, followed by the low creaking of the doors, made her silhouette stand out from the darkness outside, and the dim light inside the foyer. Before her stood a man, wearing an Egyptian style mask, with a scepter and a sword. Kirith lifted her head slightly, trying to get a better look at him. The light shined down on her, and made her partly open mouth, and a small portion of her nose appear. Her face was still unrecognizable though, anyhow. A low sound escaped her. She knew who was standing in front of her. Her Lord Of Shadows. Zahnt. The voices had showed her the way.
Her dagger made a clicking sound with the metal on her belts, letting it echo through the halls in some kind of a low whisper.
She looked down again, concealing her from view, as she took a few steps forward. Once again, a monotone sound emanated from her mouth. But this time, one could make out the words;
"My lord?"

Zahnt stood up straight and twirled the sceptre in his hand when he heard the creaking of the doors opening. The light tings of metal hitting together reached his ears seconds later. Soon he heard a feminine voice speak his title. "Mistress..." came his reply, a quiet and low yet powerful tone that reverberated off the walls of the room. Zahnt turned suddenly, his cape waving slightly, and his coattails flowing behind him. In front of him stood a small woman with a slender figure. She was dressed in red and black, with a hood covering part of her face. An assassin. "Fine day, isn't it?" the man said in a flat voice, lifting his sceptre to hold in both hands. Nightstar, his treasured blade, lay sheathed in a black and gold covering that was fastened around his waist. Zahnt tapped both of his boots in turn with his sceptre, then stood still, awaiting what Kirith had to say.

When Kirith heard his voice, naming her by the title she had gotten, she placed her right hand beneath her waist, and let her left arm move slightly away from her body at an angle. She placed her right foot behind her left, while she slowly bowed her upper body in a formal manner. She looked up at Zahnt as he spoke again, making her blue eyes shine a little, and she stood back up. "Of course. Today has been quite fantastic. Especially since I did not know you'd be a part of it." Kirith lifted her hands, towards her hood, but quickly scanned the room with her eyes, before she gently lifted her cover off her head. She glanced at Zahnt with her navy eyes. She took gentle steps across the room towards him. "Lord Of Shadows..." She said, and giggled in a low tone. "I see you have gotten quite far. How have you been?" She questioned him with a gentle smile on her face. Of course, she was happy she got to see him again. She wouldn't lie and say he didn't mean a lot to her. Kirith had protected him before. And she still would, even with her life. She felt like going up to greet him properly. To come in contact with him. But she had to be careful with what she did. She respected Zahnt more than anyone else, and the last thing she would like to happen, is for him to dislike her.
She stopped walking a couple of feet away from him, examining his appearance. Kirith's clothing was made of rough hide. One could call it armor, and surely, it would lessen the damage a sword could inflict. The man before her was truly magnificent. Marvelous and amazing compared to her.
"I am sorry. I am not dressed properly to be in such an household." She said silently, and held her elbow on her left with her right hand. She smirked at him, wondering how he had been holding up while she hadn't been around.

Zahnt stared emotionlessly at Kirith as she bowed before him. His eyes held the same apathy locked away inside them as before while Zahnt listened to the Misstress's reply. 'How charming' he thought. The Lord stroked the top of his sceptre as Kirith lifted off her hood and began taking silent steps towards him. Zahnt was indeed interested to see how close she dared to get. He very well knew the great level of respect that the Mistress had for him; she would not risk making him angry. "I am feeling quite well." A dark voice flowed from beneath his mask, infused with the cryptically graceful elements of shadows and twilight. Zahnt's eyes of contrasting colors followed the movements of Kirith's dark blue eyes. She was studying him and his royal attire. Her next words commented on her own clothing, which she found to be inferior. The Lord of Shadows exhaled slowly. "Ah, but you are dressed properly for what you do, Mistress" he stated in his deep tone. He went back to holding his sceptre in one hand and let the bottom rest on the crimson carpet beneath him. "Do not worry yourself. However, if it is too great a concern for you, then I suppose I may have something to your liking somewhere in a closet."

Re: -Entrance Hall-

Post by Kirith on Mon Oct 27, 2014 7:01 pm

Kirith listened closely to the deep and dark voice of The Lord as it hummed throughout the room. As he commented on the way she dressed as well, she looked down at the floor. "A-ah... That is true. Thank you, I guess." The Mistress Of Darkness looked around the big room with mild interest, not knowing what else to tell or ask of her master. She stretched her fingers from within her gloves, making the hide make a sound that broke the silence. Her heart told her that she needed to touch Zahnt. That she simply had to make a physical contact now that they stood by each other. But Kirith knew better herself. The idea was nice enough, but the reaction Zahnt would give, was probably not what Kirith was looking for. A silent sigh escaped her, and shortly after The Lord Of Shadows spoke about different clothing. Kirith stared into the eyes of his mask again, and gave the offer a quick thought. "I would love to wear clothes of more your liking while I'm here... If you have anything I'm allowed to wear, that you like here, that would be... Nice for the both of us, I believe. Unless we... Are going outside?" She said carefully, not being completely able to decide what words to use. But a hidden smirk, showed that she clearly meant going out for eliminations... Her fiery red -ish bangs covered her eyes slightly, but she didn't hesitate to move it out of her view. Gazing up onto the taller man in front of her, her eyes beamed with respect, envy and obsession. She was happy she could be in the attention of The Lord... She didn't care much if anyone else noticed her. But if someone else got too much attention from her Lord... They would have to be eliminated...

Re: -Entrance Hall-

Post by Zahnt on Sun Nov 02, 2014 9:10 pm

Zahnt's head gave a slow, single nod at Kirith's reply. "Of course..." The Lord spoke in a breath that split the air like a phantom dagger. In the moment of silence that followed, Zahnt continued to study his Mistress. She seemed to have an urge to speak certain words, or to perform a certain action. The way she stretched her fingers inside her gloves seemed to imply nervousness living inside Kirith when her mind allowed the thoughts of specific things to float within her mind. Seconds later, her course rang out. Words that suggested the idea of changing into a more stately form of attire. Unless of course, they were to be making little elimination trips in the near future. Zahnt felt a dark and greedy hunger stir within him. The fatal technique, taught to him by his Ruler, was composed of the deadly elements of silence, elegance, and shadows. The fingers of Zahnt's free hand came to rest lightly on the hilt of his sword Nightstar, which he had crafted himself from mystic and unknown materials. He felt a sensation when he made contact with his sword, a tingle that suggested the presence of a mighty power. There was no actual element dwelling within the black blade, but just the feeling of it aroused an excitement within the wielder, The King of Elimination. "Hmm" the man grunted. I suppose we should play before we settle down for the evening." Zahnt lifted his sceptre and twirled it quickly in one hand, and then set the bottom end on the floor forcefully. Keeping one hand on the top of the sceptre, he lifted the other and appeared to examine it. "And since you are the guest," he began, extending his hand out to Kirith. "You shall have the honor of choosing who we shall employ to help us put on our happy little show tonight."

Re: -Entrance Hall-

When Zahnt agreed that they would go outside to 'play' before they were going to do anything else. She nodded at her Lord as he extended his hand towards her. She, as well, lifted her hands, and gently pulled her shrouded cowl back onto her head. The shadows covered her face again, and her mask was lifted in the process. The man before her had offered her the choice of target. She stared blankly at him for a second, and pushed her fist into her other hand so her finger made cracking sounds. "I'm sure if we head out, and stay hidden, we would easily find a peasant to... Play with..." She said silently through her mask. She turned on her heels, and walked over to the doors, and gently pushed them open. She stopped there and held it, waiting for her master to come with her.
Her eyes was always drawn towards the Lord's sword. He was heavily affected to it, that was pretty obvious. Kirith herself wasn't exactly attached to her dagger. She had her hands, after all. She could use them just as well as her weapon. But things wouldn't be as... Clean, that way...
The Mistress looked back up at Zahnt's mask, and tilted her head slightly at him.
Let go then..."

Zahnt sighed and let his hand float back down to his side, the lace cuff of his sleeve dancing on the edges of his fingertips as they were pushed up by the breeze. He watched Kirith make her preparations. He nodded at her words, and took slow steps after her as she walked towards the doors. The Lord stepped back and waited as Kirith opened the door for him. "Thank you" he said in a slightly breathy voice as he stepped past the Mistress. Near the mansion, outside, was Zahnt's bike. Bike, as in black motorcycle. He swiftly slid his sceptre into a belt strap around his waist, and grabbed a set of keys. After pressing a button, the lights on the bike lot up, and engine turned on. Zahnt hid the keys away just as quickly as he had taken them out. Seconds later, he was sitting on the bike, his eyes on Kirith. "Come along, darling" he called out to her.

Re: -Entrance Hall-

Kirith stared at Zahnt as he walked past her in the open doorway, and got on this black motorbike. The woman tugged the door with her as she also walked outside, and stopped by the man.
She gazed at the horizon, seeing the lights of the city in the distance illuminate the darkness covering the landscape, like a thick carpet. For a moment, her mind escaped her, thinking about all the people scurrying around at this hour. At the people who had taken later shifts, and where now going home to their families. The people walking around the streets without any point, or any reason to in the cool evening air. But now they had to prepare. Now they had to get ready for the Lord of Shadows and the Mistress of Darkness to come with a thirst to satisfy their needs.
She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the man's voice again, calling for her.
"... Alright..." She said and averted her eyes from the view, and took the last steps needed toward the bike. She got on behind Zahnt, trying to find the most comfortable, but generally more of an appropriate way to sit. She fondled slightly after something to hold on to on the bike, but she found nothing, and tilted forwards from her position, but got stopped by a cape, and Zahnt's back. She shifted in her seat slightly again, and wrapped her short arms gently around the Lord, in slight fear of falling off when they started going. She pushed her face away from his back, slightly embarrassed at how her size affected her even in this situation. "I apologize..." She said, and cleared her throat over the live engine of the bike.

Zahnt felt motion behind him as his Mistress climbed onto the motorcycle. After a few moments of her wriggling around on the bike, he felt Kirith's arms wrap lightly around his body. The sound of her voice came to his ears next, barely audible above the sound of his bike. "Do not worry. Just as long as you don't fall off, I am happy" he replied, and started to turn the bike around. As Zahnt got his vehicle facing the right direction, he increased the speed, heading along the small road that connected his mansion to the city.

Kirith braced herself as Zahnt turned the throttle, and the bike started going forward. A motorbike was not her preferred way of getting around... At all... She almost felt scared on it, because she was always off balance. Bu she felt safe when her Lord was the driver. Now she little problems with it, but since she was off balance all the time, it made her uncomfortable. But they were going to have fun now... So she tried not to think about it as they went towards the city.

Re: -Entrance Hall-

Post by Zahnt on Sun Nov 23, 2014 3:39 pm

Zahnt slowed the bike down, and parked it in its usual spot by the mansion. He held it steady, keeping his feet on the ground, until Kirith got off. The man then followed, and set the stand for his bike. He then began walking to the doors of the mansion, and opened them for himself and Kirith. Once they were inside, Zahnt motioned towards a long sofa along one of the walls. "Sit there. I'll go get bandages" he told the Mistress. As Zahnt walked past to go find where he put the bandages and other necessary items, he spotted two weasel-like creatures scampering over to him. His pine martens, Cleopatra and Arsinoe. The Lord bent his knees and extended an arm for the little animals to climb up onto him. The pine martens leaped up Zahnt's arm, and found their perches on both of his shoulders, hiding inside the collar of his cape. With his pets taking a ride on him, Zahnt went back to finding what he needed to fix up Kirith's shoulder. He soon found hydrogen peroxide for cleaning the wound, cloth for the bleeding, and bandages to wrap it in. With these in his hands, the man turned and went back to Kirith.

Zahnt set the things down on the sofa beside the woman, and looked at her and her wound through his mask. He narrowed his eyes. Surely she would not want to keep those clothes on, and she said something about changing into a different outfit before they left. "You wanted to wear more fanciful clothes, yes? Come, let me show you" he said, and grabbed the things he had set down just seconds ago. He turned and went through one of the doors that was by the side of the sofa, leading the way to the mansion's closet.

Re: -Entrance Hall-

Post by Kirith on Sun Nov 23, 2014 5:57 pm

Kirith kept her head leaned against Zahnt's back, not being able to see anything while the bike kept rumbling like a consistent thunder far off in the distance. She felt much more secure in the way she was sitting now though. She felt like Zahnt was even closer to her, which made sure her heart was calm.
When the two arrived at the mansion, and Zahnt used the breaks to stop. As he held the bike steady, she slowly lifted her knee up to her chest, and turned around to get off the bike. When she got her feet securely on the ground, she waited for Zahnt to do the same. She kept looking at the ground, as he kicked the stand for the bike down so it wouldn't fall over when they left it. She took careful steps after her Master as he led the way towards the doors to his magnificent home. It fit him perfectly.
As the two got under the roof, Kirith followed Zahnt's finger, and went to sit down in the couch by the wall. It was soft, and the mistress could feel her thighs get enveloped ever so slightly by the pillows. She eyed the Lord of Shadows until he disappeared to another room to look for supplies for her arm. The woman slowly lifted the hood off of her head, and took a deep breath. She tugged one of her gloves off, letting her hand enter the cool air, which made a slight shiver go down her spine. She also started distorted her head off from around her neck, and put it beside her on the couch. Her hair now fell, and showed how long the red strands really were.
She lifted her glove-less hand, and touched her wound with two of her fingers. A silent groan of pain escaped her, as she touched around the fleshy edge of the gunshot wound. She moved her hands away again and placed them in her knees, leaning slightly on them while she waited for Zahnt to return.
Just then, she heard movement down by the clothing she had taken off. Kirith looked down at it, a small smile immediately forming on her lips as Azul crawled out from her hood, yawning up towards the roof. She placed her hand on the couch, and her gray pet dragon swiftly crawled up onto her wrist. She moved him in front of her face, and scratched him under his chin with her other hand. She giggled happily as a murr came up from his throat.
"Hello there..." She said, and placed him on her shoulder. He had quickly crawled under her long hair, and curled up around her neck to probably sleep again.
She lifted her gaze as Zahnt entered the room with the medical supplies.
"Thank you for your worry..." She said, and and simply gave him a nod as he mentioned different clothes once again. She grabbed her belongings after Zahnt had taken the things he brought again, and followed him through the mansion to where she could get new clothing, and get patched up.

Re: -Entrance Hall-

He stepped past the doors, but held the knob in his hand as he looked around. Beneath his feet was a red carpet, which his eyes followed up to a staircase. As the man stared into the room beyond the staircase, he could make out the figures of three people, two of which were sitting down at a table. Quickly yet quietly, the man closed the entrance door. Now it was time to select his first subject. An almost silent whirring sound came again. Immediately the man's gaze flew onto the red-haired woman sitting at the table. No, not her. Getting her attention also meant getting the attention of the man sitting beside her. The Keeper of Silence switched over to the man. He couldn't tell much about him, except that it appeared he was wearing a mask of some sort. Sliding his focus over, he spotted the one who would most likely be his current target. A teenage boy with white hair. "Yes..." he said in the quietest of whispers.

He then slowly backed off to the side, where he would be hidden from view. As he did so, he gave a number of hand signals to the Caucasian Shepherd that remained on the carpet. The dog took several steps forward, then sat down. The man then silently opened a nearby door, and slipped inside the hallway it led to. Now, it was time to wait for his little friend to come to him.
