-Streets of Skaarsgard City-

Post by Zahnt on Wed Nov 05, 2014 9:26 pm

Skaarsgard City is the town in which the Eliminators often come to select their victims. The city is renowned for being a not-so-good place to live or visit. Crime is high, and it is not uncommon for murders to always be in the newspapers and television. The city itself is older, giving the entire place a downtown feel; it is, however, a big city. The criminals of the city act as a scapegoat for the Eliminators, as they allow others to take the blame for their eliminations. Miles away in a secluded forest is where the Mansion of the Twilight's Terror lies.

Zahnt soon arrived at the bridge that led directly into the most condensed part of the city. Traveling at quite a good speed, the wind strands of his black hair away from his masked face. His cape was only blown back slightly, kept mostly in place by Kirith, who was holding onto him from behind. The lace that bordered his sleeves was completely pressed back against his arms. But it was a lovely sensation, riding into a busy downtown city with a fellow eliminator just as the sky was darkening. Soon the two were across the bridge and riding along the streets of the city. The skyscrapers boxed Zahnt and Kirith in, pressing them close to others that were on the streets at the time. There were other cars near them, and several people walking. "Do you see any desirable targets, Kirith?" The Lord asked, raising his voice above all the noise. He weaved slightly on his bike, avoiding a hole in the road. Zahnt took fleeting glances at people along the road, but left the big decision up to his Mistress of Darkness.

As Kirith and Zahnt arrived at the bridge, she moved her rifle away from her back with one hand, and placed it firmly on her lap between the two, hiding it slightly from view. The speed Zahnt held made her grab for her hood so it didn't slide off her head.
When the houses, blocks and skyscrapers surrounded them, the woman sat slightly up, and looked around at the people there. Oh how much fun they were going to have. Nobody seemed to be looking at them in a way that showed suspicion, so all Kirith saw was possibilities, and multiple things to do.
When her Lord asked her if she saw any targets, she felt a weak smile spread across her face.
"I have an idea of what to do, yes..." She said loudly enough for him to hear over the winds, and the sound of the bike. She had seen many people in alleyways and in secluded areas, and she had an idea on how they could make something fun, become even more fun. "If you pull over somewhere, my Lord, I know what we may do to make this evening interesting..." She said, feeling her rifle weigh her down slightly in her seat.

Zahnt felt a laugh inside of him that grew with the energy Kirith's words were supplying it with. An idea. Any idea was brilliant if it involved elimination. With the next words of his Mistress, Zahnt found a street that did not appear to be nearly as busy as the others. He turned the bike onto it, and came to a stop on the side of a road, next to some random haircut place. Zahnt kept his feet down on both sides of the bike, waiting for Kirith to get off first so that he could hold it stable while she did so. "Your idea, Misstress?" he inquired. The Lord was indeed interested to see what Kirith had in mind for this delightful evening.

When Zahnt pulled over to park the bike, Kirith didn't hesitate to jump off backwards, and take her rifle with her at the same time. She would prefer walking over such a vehicle, but since it was Zahnt's she didn't despise it as she would otherwise. She nearly hugged her weapon as Zahnt asked her about her idea. She nodded, and swung the rifle onto her back. "Follow me... Do it the way you want, and I'll start the process... We can both get our turn at this..." She said, a devious glint in her eyes.
When she had said 'the way you want' it wasn't without purpose. She turned, and walked towards the building that resided there. She looked up, and saw ledges from windows and things that marked where the floors were separated, and with a gentle kick off the ground, she reached something to hold onto, and started climbing towards the roof. Her gloves provided a perfect grip on any surface, and she had little to no problem to vault her body up with her strong arms.
As she got on the roof, she started walking along the edge, looking for a suitable target...
She went towards the busier streets, climbing and jumping anything that was in her way.
In an alleyway, she saw a man... Probably a little tipsy... He was walking around on the ground with a bottle in his hand, staggering at times. The woman looked at his dirt appearance in disgust, and gently placed her rifle on the edge of the roof. She pulled her dagger out of it's sheath, and reached into her pocket for something. Out came a little black cylinder, with a few black holes on one side, and a tiny red button on the other. She quickly glanced around, but nobody was close by to see, or hear anything at the moment. She took a stance, and dove down onto the man, making him fall onto his back under Kirith's momentum. She also got a smooth landing from landing on him. She held him by his throat, and gently put her dagger over his shoulder.
"Scream..." She ordered, and clicked the red button on the cylinder. The target was obviously too shocked to react, so she cut him a deep wound from his shoulder, and down to his waist in a diagonal line. Now he made sound, of pain. A loud one. He started screaming for help. Said he didn't know what was going on. And Kirith was enjoying every second of it. "Yes... Good boy..." She whispered, and placed the dagger over his throat. "Now it's time to say Goodnight, dear..." She said, with a wicked smile underneath her mask ask she put her free hand over his mouth, and sliced his throat open in a slow, and steady motion. He gasped for breath, which was quickly cut off by him gurgling on his own blood. But he soon went silent... Eliminated... Kirith got up, and placed her dagger back into it's place. Her plan had just begun.
The thought made her giggle.

Post by Zahnt on Mon Nov 10, 2014 10:10 pm

Once Kirith was safely off the bike, done so by jumping off backwards, Zahnt got off himself, and used his foot to bring out the kickstand of the bike. The man let out a slightly raspy sound of satisfaction as Kirith spoke. He turned and followed her, having a much easier time reaching the windowsills than his Mistress, due to his height. He and Kirith were soon atop the roof of the building the Mistress had selected to climb. Zahnt followed his fellow eliminator, moving swiftly across the rooftops, jumping when needed. The Lord noticed that she was heading towards the busier streets. The excitement spread throughout his body like a cancer. His hands trembled slightly, and reached for the handle of his sword. It was becoming harder for Zahnt to remain a stoic. Beneath his mask, a tiny smirk faded into existence.

The Lord stopped beside Kirith, and peered down below to see a man who had drunk one bottle too many. Zahnt held back for now, and allowed Kirith to go ahead as he had promised. His blue and yellow gaze pierced the darkness, watching as the assassin jumped down onto the man, knocking him to the ground. Soon the Misstress's dagger was at the man's throat. The woman clicked a button on a device she had concealed earlier before using her blade to slice the man like butter from his shoulder to his waist. A deranged aura glistened in Zahnt's eyes as the screams of Kirith's victim echoed throughout the alleyway. "Yes..." The Lord whispered chillingly. With another slash of the dagger, the man quickly died. And so it had been done. The first elimination of the night, elegantly executed by the Mistress of Darkness.

Now it was Zahnt's turn. He moved towards the beginning of the alley, knowing that the screams of the man would have drawn attention. And indeed, there was a crowd forming around the entrance. Most of them were men, but there was one person who caught Zahnt's eye. A woman and her little boy walking hurriedly away from the alley. The woman was holding her child close to her, fearing that a criminal would emerge from the shadows and snatch him away. A toothy smile appeared beneath the mask of Zahnt. The young man dashed across to the edge of the roof and leaped down.

He landed behind his prey, knees fully bent to absorb the shock of the landing. Zahnt silently drew Nightstar out of his sheath and began stalking after the woman and child. The two stopped for a moment at the edge of the sidewalk and waited for the crossing sign to tell them to go. The Lord saw this as a perfect opportunity, and crept up just behind the woman. Putting his mouth close to her ear, he whispered "The Lord of Shadows is here, darling." The woman whipped around, crying out quietly in surprise. When she saw a masked man standing in front of her, she immediately started pleading with him not to hurt her son. "I won't" he promised. Zahnt grinned devilishly. "Aheeheehoo~"

Zahnt rushed at the woman, Nightstar in one hand, the other reaching for his sceptre. In one swift move, he was behind the woman, holding his sceptre with both hands. He jabbed the butt end of it as hard as he could into the woman's lower back. She only had a brief moment to scream before Zahnt dealt a blow to her head with his sceptre. The woman fell to the ground, where The Lord ended her by stepping on her throat and planting his sceptre into her chest, stopping her heart.

Zahnt slowly turned towards the boy, lifting his foot off the woman's throat. The child was staring wide-eyed at him, too absolutely terrified to move. Zahnt looked back down at the woman. "The promise only lives as long as the promise maker." The man put his sceptre back onto his belt, and drew Nightstar once again. As Zahnt slinked towards the boy, he began chanting. "Sing to me songs of the darkness, farewell to heaven my friend, come to me, bury your sorrows, temptation awaits the condemned." Zahnt suddenly kicked the boy to the ground and placed a foot on his chest. The child began to scream; exactly what Zahnt wanted him to do. Before anyone could blink, Nighstar was shoved down the boy's throat, piercing the back side. The boy screamed even louder. Zahnt pulled Nightstar back, and then drove the tip straight through one of the boy's eyes. The Lord started twisting Nightstar back and forth while it still held its grip in the boy's eye socket.

The screams and cries of the child were glorious, holy sounds to Zahnt's ears, but others noticed. Soon a group of men were at Zahnt's back. One of them grabbed The Lord's shoulder and whipped him around in order to deliver a punch to Zahnt's face. The eliminator, now angered, saw another man come at him, and let Nightstar take the blow for him. The sword's tip punctured the man's stomach, causing him to double over and fall halfway to the ground. Zahnt yanked his sword free, and turned to stare at the other men around him. "You made Zahnt angry!" he yelled, a demonic glint in his eyes.

Re: -Streets of Skaarsgard City-

Post by Kirith on Mon Nov 10, 2014 10:47 pm

After Kirith felt satisfied with the blood pouring out on the ground, slowly slipping in between the cracks of the tiled stones of the alley, she turned to look on the roof for Zahnt. She noticed him take hurried steps away, and disappear onto the ground. The Mistress of Darkness now wanted to see what her Lord would do to proceed with the fun they had. So she looked up the walls, and searched for something that she could hold onto without giving away her presence.

"Tch..." That was the only sound that escaped her as she saw little, but a small pipe going between the walls, probably a drain for the upper floors of the houses and apartments there. No matter though. She saw a perfect route, hidden in nothingness.

She took a few steps back, and built up her speed. She placed her left leg on the wall beside her and almost leaped up, running across the wall for as long as she was able to. When her grip lessened, she kicked off the wall, and with easy, she reached the one on the opposite side of the alley, and wall-ran that one as well, just straight up instead. When she jumped off this time, she easily reached the thin pipe, and pulled herself up so she could stand on it. Her balance was beyond imagination, so she easily stood on it, and re-did the whole process from there, to reach the roof.

When she the roof was within reach, she heard the scream of a young child in the distance. Kirith grinned.
'Poor thing... Wrong place at the wrong time...' She thought slyly, and picked up her rifle to run across the roofs from where the sound had come. As she ran, she noticed the figure of Zahnt standing by the body of a woman, the the soon to be dead body of a boy.

A weak giggle was heard from the roofs as he took his last breath, as Zahnt ended his helpless life. But her giggles were quickly turned into a intense silence as Zahnt got surrounded by a bunch of men. Kirith stood like a cat at the edge of the roof, staring with intense eyes as he even got a punch in his Holy face.
Kirith growled, and right after her Lord had killed another of the men. But she didn't care about anyone else than on of them.

She placed her leg on the edge of the roof, and pulled forth her rifle. She aimed directly at the head of the man who had just hit The Lord of Shadows, and with a click, the safety was off.
"Bastard......" She whispered quietly, before she held her breath to steady the rifle in her arms, and pulled the trigger.

The sound was nothing more than a weak, high pitched noise. But it's delivery was lethal. She felt a strong kick against her shoulder as the projectile was launched out of the rifle. The bullet pierced directly through the man's head, and hit the sidewalk, disappearing into the ground. The man fell over as if he fell asleep, but liquefied brains, and blood poured out onto the street, and slowly went towards the drain like rainwater would.

Kirith slowly pulled back the bolt of the rifle, sending the hot brass remaining inside the barrel out on the right side, making it fall down onto the sidewalks to be found by someone later. She pushed the bolt back forward, sending a new bullet into the chamber, now ready for use once again. But Kirith clicked the safety back on...

The woman placed the rifle down, and took off her sheathed dagger, and put it there as well, before she jumped down. When she landed, she rolled over her head to soften her fall, and as she stood afterwards, she grabbed the arms of one of the men, and swung him over her head and onto the ground on the opposite side of her, before punching him as hard as she could, making his skull bulge slightly inward. He wasn't waking up any time soon to say it in a mild way...

She extended her feet, and got back up with her hands high and fingers out, ready to fight off any foe. Her head was slightly lowered, making her hood completely conceal her from the street lights. She was ready to protect her Master if she needed to.

Re: -Streets of Skaarsgard City-

Post by Zahnt on Fri Nov 14, 2014 11:52 pm

Zahnt was about to pounce on another victim, when one of the men suddenly dropped at his feet, a pool of blood and brain matter quickly forming where he has fallen. Every head instantly snapped to look at the freshly eliminated man, save for The Lord. He already knew what had taken place. Kirith, his wonderful and dedicated Mistress had sniped the fool who had dared to lay a finger on him. But not only had the Mistress reduced the number of men for Zahnt to deal with, she had also provided a distraction that enabled an unexpected attack to be formed.

With his grip on reality slipping and the grip on his sword tightening, Zahnt saw his chance. With the hilt tightly squeezed in his hands, the man drew Nightstar back to one side, and swung with all his might at the man closest to him, aiming the fatal blow at his neck. With one powerful slice, the head of the target fell to the ground, closely followed by the rest of the body. Zahnt quickly regained the attention of all the men surrounding him. A second later, there was a small, slender shadow that seemed to descend from the delicate shadows of the sky. Kirith, the Mistress of Darkness. Zahnt watched as the woman swiftly seized one of the men, flung him over her head, and sent him to a different place with a punch.

For a moment, there was silence. Then came a sound; relieving to the men, but depressing to the others. Their fun was almost over. As the flashing blue and red lights appeared far down the street, one of the men began to cry out in a nervous joy. Zahnt, wearing a demonic grin beneath his mask, shut the man up by thrusting Nightstar through his throat. "Ready for the finale?" he asked Kirith as he walked over to stand beside her. The cop cars were stopped in front of them within seconds. Two cars, and two officers for each car. The Lord frowned. He had expected the station to send better. But oh well. Two for each, then.

Zahnt watched as each of the officers got out and pointed guns at both him and Kirith. The Lord giggled, and suddenly leapt forward, charging maniacally at two of the officers. He knew that they would fire at him if they needed too, but Zahnt didn't particularly care. He would tear these people to bits. Disassemble them. Rip them apart. Do whatever his twisted and corrupted heart desired to them. And that was only one thing. To eliminate them. If these snotbags thought they could stand up to The Lord of Shadows, then they were the crazy ones. Yes, it was them who were crazy. And if the bad guys are always the crazy ones, then that justifies what Zahnt was about to do to them. Now, if only the whole rest of the world wasn't crazy, then he would gain the glory he deserved from every little pathetic being on earth, save for the one he already got it from. He would be a true King of Elimination.

The tip of Nightstar's blade hovered a millimeter above the ground as its wielder dashed madly at the officers. As soon as he was close enough, Zahnt extended one of his lengthy arms out to the side, and slashed at the cop's stomach. Knowing that the officer's partner would soon send a bullet his way, Zahnt shoved his victim towards the other cop and ducked just as the trigger was pulled. "Aheeheehoo~" the man almost screamed, leaving the sound of his demented laughter penetrate the dull normality of the nightly routine of Skaarsgard City. Without hesitation, Zahnt was back up to his full height, and swinging his blade around once more. Nightstar managed to find the officer's pistol and knock it away from him. "Eliminate!" The Lord of Shadows screeched. His sword stabbed upward through the bottom of the officer's chin. Zahnt squealed in a psychotic delight as blood began to ooze down the blade of his sword and dripped onto the ground.

He then proceeded to savagely rip his sword free from the man's body, tearing the victim's skin and insides as he did so. Zahnt watched as the body hit the ground, and soon poked it with Nightstar. Not getting a satisfying reaction, the man flipped the body over, and began stomping on the officer's face, breaking several bones. Once he was satisfied with his victim's appearance, Zahnt turned around to see what kind of show would be displayed by Kirith.

Re: -Streets of Skaarsgard City-

Post by Kirith on Sat Nov 15, 2014 2:41 pm

Kirith heard the piercing sound of metal going against flesh and bone. She had looked over at her Lord as he swung his sword in the most magnificent way, and forced his blade through a man's throat.

Kirith grinned as his head gracefully fell from the rest of his body, and rolled across the ground slowly. After the silent 'thump' of the man's body hitting the ground, filled their ears, silence had washed over them. It was entering the woman's mind at a horrifying speed. But the empty space was quickly filled in with the wailing of police sirens in the distance.

As Zahnt killed yet another man, who was making sound, by shoving his sword into his throat to shut him up, the Mistress walked up behind another of the men who were surrounding Zahnt earlier, before he had a chance to go anywhere. She grabbed his chin with her right hand, and just about reached up to his forehead with her left.
"No more sound..." She whispered before she moved her hands swiftly. A low cracking sound was heard, and she snapped his neck with her bare hands. She held his head for a moment, before letting his body fall like doll to the ground.

Kirith looked up at her Master with dull eyes, as it hit her that their round of eliminating was going to be over soon. They had had a lot of fun so far. But it wasn't over yet...

"I am ready, Master... I got your back..." She said as two PD cars pulled up beside them on the road. Two officers opened each their door, and stepped out on the street with each their pistol in their hands. Kirith scanned them while raising her arms as a fake surrender. She stared at their stance, their weapon, and started thinking about how she could approach the situation without taking a bullet. But before she could plan out something properly, Zahnt had charged at them. When he reached the first cop, Kirith knew all of them would try to take him down. quickly, she grabbed small throwingknives from behind hear shoulder, and threw them at the lights illuminating the street. They almost exploded in a electric frenzy, while glass fell down. Darkness surrounded them, but she knew the two eliminators would be able to see just about clearly.

She swiftly ran up towards the two other cops that Zahnt wasn't close to. In the dark, she was nothing more than air, so she knew her first target wouldn't see her. He held a colt. The classic pistol, favored by the whole world since before the great world war. And she had no problem of grabbing it. She twisted the gun out of his hand, and flipped him onto the ground by his arms.
"Die." She said in a hard tone, before pulling the trigger. Blood splattered onto the Mistress' clothes, and she got a drop by her eye. The man on the ground didn't even get a chance to scream...

The other cop had now switched his concentration over from Zahnt, and onto her as he had noticed that she was hostile as well. His weapon was a .38 Special... A revolver. They had trigger delay, unless the hammer was pulled back, but she saw it wasn't. She charged at him, knowing that he'd try to shoot at her. She heard him pull the trigger, and with a fast move, she threw most of her body to the side. A fourth of a second went by, and the bullet was sent out of the pistol. It would have hit the woman in the chest she hadn't ducked away...
She didn't dodge the bullet perfectly anyhow. It pierced through her skin on the edge of her shoulder, giving her a deep flesh-wound. But that didn't bother her now. She got up close, and for a moment, a glint over mentality flashed through her eyes, as she jumped up, and punched the man to the ground. She placed her foot over his wrist, so he could not lift his gun to fire again. Her other foot was on his throat. She stared at him, before throwing a glance over at Zahnt, who was looking at her now, standing by the bodies of two mutilated policemen. She waved at him, wanting him to come over to her.

The man she was pinning down, grabbed the foot over his throat with his free hand, but the limited air he got made him weak. She giggled evilly, and bent down, placing her hand on his face. "Squirm all you want... We can make this quick... Or we could make it slow... And painful..." She said silently, and watched as fear filled his eyes. She grabbed behind his head, and forced it above the ground for a moment, before she let him go. She got up, and grabbed his gun. She easily removed it from his hand, and threw it out of reach. Immediately he started squirming beneath her again. "What... Did I just... Tell you?" The mistress growled, and placed her foot further in by the base of the man's arm. Shes put most of her weight on it, before she twisted it sideways slightly, getting his shoulder out of it's location. He cried out in pain, trying to get out from underneath the woman again. It was as if Kirith's patience was being tested. She switched over to his other arm, and dislocated that one as well.

Now that the man was incapacitated from doing any more harm, Kirith sat down on his chest, still keeping him from moving... She put her hand on her wound, and put it in front of her face to look at it. Blood covered her hand, as she was bleeding from where she had been hit. Her actions had been rushed, and she intended to get her revenge for it.
"Look at this... You made me dirty..." She whimpered, and grabbed his throat. "I. Hate. Dirty." Kirith almost scolded before she started choking him. As he slowly suffocated it her hands, she smiled at him. She wanted him to know that what he had done was a big mistake. That he never should have become a cop. That he should have stayed home with his family... But Kirith wouldn't let him accept death either. Before he went quiet and calmed down, she tightened her grip, and twisted her hand counter-clockwise. His head loosened from his body, and his neck broke. He died at the spot...

Kirith got up, feeling her shoulder pound, as her heart sent blood to it to fix it up in a natural way. She lifted her hand, and held over it before she turned to look at Zahnt.
"Are we leaving now, Master? We can keep going if your needs are not satisfied yet." She offered, even though her shoulder needed attention.

Re: -Streets of Skaarsgard City-

Post by Zahnt on Sat Nov 22, 2014 4:43 pm

Zahnt giggled as Kirith snatched away one of the officer's pistols, and flipped the man himself onto the ground. Before he even had time to cry out, Kirith pulled the trigger. The hand with which The Lord held his sword twitched, hungry to join his Mistress in the fine technique of eliminating the remaining officer. Yet he held himself back. He wanted to see what this woman had inside of her; it had been a while since he had seen her charming way of ridding the world of snotbags. And watching her eliminate was a treasure too precious to Zahnt.

He continued to observe as Kirith made a dash at the remaining cop, who had his gun aimed at her. The woman dodged out of the way as the cop pulled the trigger, preventing the bullet from hitting her. Or had she? Zahnt narrowed his eyes. If she had been grazed by the bullet, she didn't show any signs of pain. Instead she swiftly knocked the officer to the ground, secured him there with her feet, and then waved Zahnt over.

The man began to make his way over to his elimination partner, slowly sheathing his sword as he did so. He arrived near Kirith just in time to see her growl out a threat to the man, before twisting both his arms out of their place. Zahnt stood, looking down at the Mistress as she proceeded to sit down. Then she placed her hand on her shoulder, and held it up. It was covered in blood. So she had been injured. Zahnt felt some odd feeling once he realized this...anger? Sadness? He couldn't find the name for it. No matter right now. Kirith said the final words that the unfortunate officer would ever hear, before she fastened her hands around his neck and began to suffocate him. The same smile spread across both of the faces of the Eliminators. Finally, Kirith put an end to it all by snapping the man's neck.

Zahnt let his gaze focus on the woman as she rose to her feet. His eyes flashed to her shoulder for a split second before they settled back onto her face as she spoke. The Lord inhaled deeply but silently. How much he wished he could continue. He knew very well that Kirith would go along with whatever he wanted to do. He glanced at her shoulder again, and felt the slightest pin prick of that unknown emotion again. He wouldn't let a fellow eliminator temporarily lose the ability to eliminate from too much pain. Well, he wouldn't let that happen to Kirith, at least. "No. Your wound needs to be tended to" he replied. He turned and began slowly walking to the shop where he had parked his bike. "Come."

Kirith looked stared at Zahnt as he seemed to be passionate about her wounds. She eyed him in a slight shock, before she took quick steps forward, and grabbed the end of the sleeve of his shirt between her index and her thumb. "W-wait..." She said silently, and tugged gently at him, so they would both slow down to a halt. "I'm... I fine, I just..." She mumbled. She wasn't able to find the correct words. She wanted to tell him it was nothing. That he didn't have to worry about her, or her wounds. But she wasn't able to. But there was one thing she felt. She felt happy. Happy that Zahnt cared about her well-being. But she was also disappointed in herself for being like she was. Right now, she had been in the way for her Lord's fun.

"... Thank you, Master, Zahnt. But you need not to worry about this... I am sorry if I am a nuisance in the cause of the evening's activities..." She said with her head lowered, not allowing the Lord of Shadows to see her face either at the moment. She walked slowly up beside him. She lifted her head slightly while letting a silent sound escape her, before she let go of Zahnt's sleeve as she realized that she was still holding on to it. She was clearly not happy about being the one who was putting their fun to a break.
Just then, she remembered that she had left her weapons up on the roof. She sighed slightly, knowing that she could not leave there. It would be taken in by the police as evidence when more backup arrived at the horrible crime-scene. She walked over to the wall, and placed her uninjured hand on a ledge. She nearly threw herself up, using only one arm. She caught herself from falling back down again with her legs, and made sure her upper body didn't slip backwards by getting a grip on something with her hand again. She kept heaving herself up until she stood on the roof.
Kirith stared at the rifle with despise while she sheathed her dagger. She didn't like that weapon. No matter how useful it was, she hated it. It wasn't something she was supposed to use. She growled, and grabbed it's barrel as she got up on her feat. She placed it over her shoulder, and swung it with all her might over the stone ledge, making it break into three different pieces, while the scope was crushed. Now she didn't care if the police found it. The woman wasn't from around there anyway. They would never find any information on her.
The mistress placed her legs over the edge of the roof, and slipped off the roof. Her landing wasn't as smooth as always. She landed right on her feet with a silent thump. But it didn't affect her in any way. She got up, and walked up beside Zahnt.
She walked with him over to his bike, holding over her wound with her hand. Of course, it did hurt, but her limits when it came to pain was really high. The mistress of Darkness could definitely keep going until her Master was satisfied, but he seemed to had made up his mind. She would have to make it up to him later, after they got back to the mansion. Kirith was wondering how long she would get to stay in the other eliminator's home. Of course, the thought of 'forever' was tempting, but she wouldn't make any decision like that. She would simply accompany Zahnt until he told her to head off to somewhere else. The thought made her left her gaze again, looking up and the man she walked with.
Kirith lifted her hand, and pulled down her mask before she sighed slightly.
"Let's just get back quickly..." She suggested, just wanting to get to safety where she could get this stupid wound she got to heal.

Zahnt halted as he felt a tugging on his sleeve. The man turned around to face Kirith, who was mumbling something about her wound. Zahnt looked down at where her fingers gently grasped the sleeve of his shirt. When he looked back at the woman's face, she was apologizing for getting injured. The Lord opened his mouth, trying to make words come out, but he had not even the slightest idea of what to say. "No..." he said, whispering the word just barely loud enough to be heard. He felt oddly helpless, not knowing what to say, so he simply became mute, refusing to speak words. But it felt wrong at the moment...Kirith was just staring at the ground. Soon she released her grip on his sleeve, and walked over to a building, which she began to climb. Zahnt let out a soft groan to himself. 'This woman...' he thought.

Zahnt watched as Kirith scaled the building, even with an injured shoulder. Silence enveloped the man, who stood still, frozen, silently watching as Kirith arrived at the roof. Suddenly, the woman hurled something off the ledge. Her rifle. Zahnt sighed. The Mistress appeared very frustrated that she had put an end to the night's fun. But she hadn't; The Lord had intended to leave right after the first officers were eliminated, as it would be dangerous when they sent out greater numbers. He wanted to tell that to Kirith, as she jumped down from the roof, and took her place beside him as they silently made their way to the parked bike. But how could he say it? If he even tried, it would come out awkward, very much unlike the fluent and elegant manner with which he normally spoke. So the two walked back in silence, neither of them saying a single word.

Zahnt kicked the stand of the bike up, and swung his leg over to sit on it. The man gave a tiny nod. "Yes" he said, and refused to say any more than that, as Kirith got on behind him. He waited until he felt her arms go around him for security, then lifted his feet off the ground and drove back to the mansion.

The silence that surrounded the two as they walked almost intimidated Kirith. She kept lifting her gaze a couple of times to check how long distance it was left until they were by the bike, but also to look up at her Lord of Shadows. Her eyes quickly fell back down onto the ground though, as she always tried to look for an expression through his Anubis mask in complete vain. Kirith noticed some people staring at them, but it didn't take long for them to turn to get away from danger. Well, they were right to.
When they got to the bike, by the store where Zahnt had parked it earlier, she waited for him to get on the vehicle. When he held it steady, she slowly got on behind him. She let go of her wounded arm, and wrapped her arms around the man in a kind of awkward way, to make sure she didn't get her blood on him. She gently leaned her head on his back, getting her hair and her hood in her eyes. It didn't bother her much. It actually made her worry less about falling off when Zahnt started the bike.

Vincent slowed the car down once his eyes spotted the area of the crime. "Here we are" he announced, and looked around as he put the car into park. It seemed as if all the bodies had been cleared and taken elsewhere, and the officers that had come to try to stop the attack had gone as well. There were, however, what looked like a few dark spots on the sidewalk, which Vincent guessed to be blood. The young officer looked at Nikolai, giving him a nervous smile as he took off his seatbelt and reached for the door handle. Vincent slowly stepped out of the police car and looked around as he walked over towards the sidewalk. Once he was off of the road, his brown eyes examined the area around him, even checking the tops of buildings for any sign of the killers still lurking about in the streets.

Nikolai was looking out the window as the car started slowing down to a halt. It had been a while since he had seen as much blood at this, without bodies nearby. The Russian looked at Vincent as he stopped the car, and said they had arrived. He gave no words, simply opening the passenger door, and walking outside on the dark street. Though, the lamps on the sidewalks somewhat illuminated the area, it still had that eerie feeling over it. Nikolai walked towards one of the blood stains on the ground, his face as neutral as anything. "I think I understand you know what dead bodies are. But have you witness the way they are made?" He asked, simply glaring at the blood for a moment, before he walked over to the next one, peering over at the officer as he did so. Smirking at the unsure look he had about him. Nikolai felt no fear, nor nervousness as he bent down, staring down into the life essence of another human being. Even though the blood had probably started drying by now, he saw the light reflecting from the lamps. He dipped his finger ever so slightly in the puddle with his glove on, raising it up towards Vincent. "Me... I have am known with this. Experience? I don't know. I call it misfortune." He spoke silently, looking up at the worried face of his companion once again.

Vincent watched as Nikolai walked over and began to examine some of the blood stains. He laughed quietly and uneasily in reply as the man asked him a question and smirked. Vincent had no problem with his own blood being on his body, but he wasn't sure if he just wanted to walk over and smear someone else's blood on himself, especially if that person was dead now. He became lost in a whirl of nothing within his head for a moment until Nikolai spoke and brought him out of it. "Oh...you've seen things like this before? Well, uh, things like what we heard happened?" Vincent inquired, avoiding asking specifically what had happened in Nikolai's experience, though he was itching to know.

Nikolai got up from his crouched position, and locked his gaze with Vincent's. Slowly, he lifted his hand, showing him his palm. "This hand, comrade. Have been messenger of death many times. I haven not just seen, but created bodies." He said slowly, before lowering his arm again. "Legal murder, they call it. Worst kind. No choice. If you don't want, you still have to." He spoke, once again walking around the area, looking at the stains of blood. Leaning in close to a darker spot of blood, he immediately noticed it was more congealed than other places. 'Bullet...?' he thought to himself, turning and looked up on the roof.
If the bullet came from anywhere, it was from above. So the top of the building made sense. However, the Russian had no way of getting up there to look at it, which showed the abilities of the murderers held.
"Comrade... What are the weapons these people use to kill others like... animals...?" He said, deciding not to throw a glance back at him this time.

Vincent listened in a silent awe and partial fear as the man explained that he had killed other people, though it was in a legal manner. 'For the army? The Russian army?' he guessed. It was certainly an uncomfortable thing to talk or even think about, but it was slightly reassuring to know that he had done so not of his free will, but for his country. Vincent continued to watch without words until Nikolai spoke again, inquiring if he knew which weapons the killers wielded. "Um...I know our main guy uses a sword...and I think I heard that his lady friend uses a type of gun, most likely a rifle" the young officer replied. The more he spoke with this man, Vincenr began to realize how experienced he was. It almost seemed as if he could determine how the person had been killed just by looking at the blood stain. Vincent would have to ask Nikolai to teach him how to do that. 'Oh wait...do I really want to stare at blood and figure out how the dead person was killed?'

Nikolai kept inspecting the pool of blood for a moment. It was pretty useless, standing there inspecting these things. He knew. What he didn't know was why he decided to go out anyway. He could just have gotten tired of the air inside that waiting room, but then again, the Russian liked cigarettes.
Getting up, the man turned towards the younger officer.
"Vincent... I told you I will teach you something, da?" He said, walking back towards him. As he was close enough to touch him, he didn't really stop. He grabbed his shoulder, and turned him in the direction Nikolai was walking. "Let's get out of here first. If you want to know something, tell me while we walk, and I can teach you if I know."

Vincent forgot his thinking, and watched as Nikolai came over to him. As the older man placed a hand on his shoulder and made Vincent walk beside him, he asked if there was anything he would like to learn from him. "Well...I just...I don't want people to think I can't be as good as them. Most of the other officers think of me as some kid who can't do anything..." Vincent explained. A few seconds later he wondered why he had told someone he had just met barely an hour ago. He didn't know. There was just something about Nikolai that Vincent looked up to; that he trusted.

Nikolai kept walking with Vincent for a moment before he told him about his wish of an equal standpoint in his work with everyone else. Some time went by without the Russian saying anything at all. He was searching for words, or maybe an answer overall. It was no easy sentence to respond to, but Nikolai was certain he could help Vincent if only he could reply in a proper way. "You do any hunting, comrade? Think about criminals as deer, or any other prey... Knowing the routines, and habits of the prey, creates the... Balance, of hunt. You understand?" He said, thinking about what he had said for a moment. Nikolai was truly not very good at expressing himself in English, but he did his best for this Canadian man. "take the shot too early, and your chance may be forever lost. If you do not know where your prey is before trying to catch it, it may find you first on mistake. And it won't just let you go when you are close. Patience. Eh?" The Russian murmured, looking at the other man in question if he understood what he had said.

Vincent felt his cheeks grow hot when the man did not reply for some time. Perhaps it was too soon to share something that personal? However, the Canadian's worry disintegrated and floated away once Nikolai began to speak. Hunting? He didn't hunt, but the way the other officer presented the situation of working at a police station made more sense than any other way he had heard it before. "Oh, okay...that makes sense. Thank you" Vincent replied. He looked up at the tops of the high buildings of the city. "I guess...we should leave now? Unless there's anything else you want to do?"

Nikolai nodded with a friendly smile on his face as Vincent thanked him. He had no idea if what he said actually had made sense or not, but he was at least happy if Vincent saw some kind of thing he could learn from in his advice. Following Vincent's gaze, he once again looked up at the top of the roofs. He seemed really jumpy when he was outside, which did explain a lot about the conditions in the city. The Russian was wondering if these two people were the sole reasons for it all, though.
When the officer proposed to go back, Nikolai looked around real quick, before he nodded lightly.
"Da, let us get out of here... Which way was the car?" He said, laughing a bit jokingly.

[color:86c1=#oocc99] (<-- Omg bish 4 realz right now?) Vincent waited in anticipation for the man to respond to his question. He was definitely not too keen on staying on the scene of a murder, no, a massacre, for any longer. The young officer was almost overwhelmed with happiness when Nikolai agreed that they should leave. However, despair came over him when the man asked where the car was. "O-oh, the car? I, uh... I... I don't know" he stuttered, glancing around nervously before staring at Nikolai. Now they both had forgotten where the car was, which means they would be stranded here, which then leads to the conclusion that the wild foul beastly killing machines would come and take them away and put them through extensive amounts of low and painful torturing as they slowly starve to death. These thoughts began to slip out of Vincent's mind as his anxiety grew. "What if they come back now? We have to find the car then... I think it was over there?" Vincent said aimlessly, pointing a finger in some random direction.

Nikolai watched as Vincent started to get frantic, and even seemed to panic a bit over the fact that they had forgotten exactly where the car was. Going for his pocket, the Russian grabbed the little metal container he had, and clicked it open. He put the cigar he had lit earlier between his lips, while the younger man started walking in a random direction. The sound of his lighter was heard as he started puffing smoke. He went up after Vincent, and grabbed the collar of his shirt, to make him halt. His other hand now held the cigar. "Breaths, comrade. You have the car keys, no? Car makes sound, and we can find it, da?" He said, letting go. Looking around, Nikolai had kind of understood these hunters weren't around anymore, but one could never be sure. "Do not lose your mind, Vincent. Or you won't see anything coming. You can't think, or plan against your enemies without a mind." He muttered, breathing smoke out of his nose after putting the cigar back into his mouth. However Vincent acted towards these kinds of situations, Nikolai saw him as kind of useful. The only other person that would be better company, would be someone just like himself. Sadly, those weren't didn't really exist. Anymore, that is. He would have to do. And he had to learn.
